11/08/06 - Almost done with my 6month Accutane trial. Go to my journal selection for all 6 months of me being on Accutane, including pictures, so you can see my progress as I go.

My name is Silas. I have recently started treatment on Accutane. I thought it would be a good idea to give a true, unbiased, report on my experience taking Accutane.

A little about myself and my history with Acne. I started getting Acne beginning of Freshmen year in Highschool, I just now graduated. Sadly to say my Acne hasnt left me yet. I've tried just about everything there is. Everything from over counter topicals, Pro Activ, Chemical peels, and even the combination of Benzoclyn, Tazorax, Minocycline. Nothing has been able to kill of the Acne. So finally as a last resort I have chosen to do Accutane. Between being completely fed up with Acne, and afraid of scaring my face, I have chosen to do this path. So from here on out shall be my Journal, my gift to anyone who would like any information or questions about Accutane. As I realize everyones reaction to Accutane is different, so by no means base your opinion soley on what I discover what effects Accutane has on me.
